First of all, this was a real challenge for me.  My trade is really crewel embroidery.  The easiest parts of this project for me were the maple leaves.  Did I enjoy working on this?  For the most part I did.  Late summer I started to rush it in order to complete it for the first guild meeting in September.  That was not a good thing.  I finally realized that I was not going to finish it; I had given it the best I could and it was time to relax and do it slowly and correctly.
