Fan Dance

Fan Dance is a portfolio of six oriental fan designs inspired by the rich colours and textures of the Orient.  This charted instruction book includes designs for six charted fans stitched on 24ct congress cloth using silk and metallic threads. Empress, Kabuki, Geisha and Samurai comprise the four larger, individual fan designs.  A pair of smaller fans accent the top of a wooden box in Meiko, and the Imari Tassel, with its bright beads and long swinging tassel, completes the portfolio. Options are shown for framing individual fan designs, using the double  fan as a box insert or for creating a small tassel. Finished size of each framed fan  is 6" x 6".
